The Daymaker Benefit 2012

On Sunday, April 29, 2012 Daymakers from around the Twin Cities will come together for the Daymaker Benefit, supporting Angel Foundation. The inspirational event will include a cocktail reception, hors devours catered by D’Amico & Sons, live entertainment featuring DJ Espada from Wants vs. Needs, Benny Weinbeck, and Taiko Drummers, and a high-energy, uplifting fashion and hair show styled by master beauty artisans.

Angel Foundation (mnangel.org), a local nonprofit 501(c)(3) helps adults with cancer and their families so that they may live life well with stability, strength and resilience through an innovative and integrated approach of financial assistance, education, and support. Since Angel Foundation's founding in 2001, more than 15,000 adults with cancer and their families have benefitted from Angel Foundation through their participation in Facing Cancer Together programs. In addition, thousands of adult cancer patients have been able to pay their rent and put food on the table thanks to the Financial Assistance program. By the end of 2011 more than $2.6 million in emergency assistance was distributed to local adult cancer patients.
